Today we introduced our first project of the year. Its a big one so here we go!
You will be writing a research paper on a Famous Deaf Person. This paper should be two and a half pages long. The guildlines have been handed out to you. If you loose your copy PLEASE come get a new one, dont wing it ok?
We are going to the computer lab on Wed and Friday this week.
Also you will have class time to work on your paper.
There is one more element to your paper. You will need a posterboard, any normal standarized poster board with important notes or information (directly taken from your paper) about your deaf person to present to the class. We will go over this more in detail.
This project is DUE MONDAY DEC 1st.

FIRST ASL HONORS SOCIETY MEETING TODAY AT 2:20. If you missed it, come to the next one on Oct 24th at 2:20.

ASSIGNMENT:
Use 30 vocab words from Unit 2. And you may only use signs we have gone over in class. You may use classifiers as well for we learned what that was today.
You must talk about an imaginary 3rd person. This person will be described in your conversation. The class will then write down who you were talking about, male or female, what they wore and colors they had on. Your classmates understanding will determine your grade, so sign clear and strong.
Remeber if you missed anything in class you must talk to me. I am not going to hunt you down, its your responsibility.
